For our prime client in the Automotive industry we are looking for a Functional Safety Designer The Functional Safety Designer will be responsible for the implementation of the safety characteristics of Propulsion Solutions products, in order to comply with the requirements of the Functional Safety Standard ISO/IS 26262. MAIN ACTIVITIES He/she: • will cooperate with the Functional Safety Specialists and the Project Safety Managers for the customization of the solutions • will define the technical safety requirements • will perform safety analyses • will define safety software detailed design specifications • will define the software unit test specification, as well as the system and software qualification criteria • will generate the safety units software code and perform the unit tests • will take part in technical reviews of the functional safety work products • will cooperate with other departments . REQUIREMENTS The candidate will have the following skills: • Degree in electrical/electronic/automotive/aerospace engineering or equivalent • English . The following skills will be regarded as a plus: • Knowledge of the Functional Safety Standard ISO/IS 26262 • Previous experience in automotive products such as engine/gearbox/inverter control units or vehicle/battery management units • Knowledge of Matlab-Simulink-Stateflow • Knowledge of embedded SW and C programming language • Knowledge of FMEA • Knowledge of FTA . vetrinabakeca
