We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team on a major construction programme. This role will suit someone with strong experience in mechanical systems inspections and a deep understanding of quality control processes on complex construction projects. You will play a key role in ensuring that construction activities meet design specifications, industry standards, and client expectations. Key Responsibilities - Conduct regular inspections of LLE and OFCI mechanical equipment, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards. - Conduct regular inspections of mechanical systems on site, including HVAC, chilled water, process piping, fire protection, and other mechanical installations. - Verify that construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant standards . - Raise and track non-conformance reports and ensure timely close-out of issues. - Support quality audits and participate in internal and external inspections. - Review and verify contractor quality documentation, including inspection and test plans and method statements. - Collaborate with site teams, contractors, and client representatives to resolve quality issues. - Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality-related communications. - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives on quality processes and standards. Your Profile - 5+ years’ experience in a quality inspection role within the construction industry, with a focus on mechanical systems. - Experience on large-scale construction projects . - Strong knowledge of mechanical construction practices, materials, and testing methods. - Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems. - Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. - Effective communicator with strong collaboration skills. - Relevant technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services .
